Dennie, along with her now deceased husband, Howie, developed CTO and authored the original materials that now are comprised in the majority of the CTO Studies. She continues to disciple, train and write new studies with her husband, Tom Patton.

Randy Murphy
Executive Director
Randy serves as the full-time Executive Director over CTO Ministries, giving vision, direction and oversight of all aspects of the ministry. He is also involved in teaching, training and coaching key leaders. Randy also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mike Dunford
Associate Director
Mike serves as associate director and his involvement is varied and broad. With 20 years of youth pastor experience, Mike and his wife Lorianne bring a unique perspective in discipling couples and reaching the next generation with the Gospel message. His primary focus with CTO Ministries is communications and the development of a focused strategy to take the key discipleship principles of scripture to the next generation.

Whitney Magnusson
Administration
Whitney serves in a part-time capacity deftly managing the multiple administrative details necessary to keep CTO functioning smoothly. With a strong background in marketing and accounting, she frees the CTO leadership team to focus on ministry architecting, content development and key leader training.

Brian Jackson
Director of Development
With 30+ years of experience in non-profit development and fundraising, Brian serves in a part-time role, overseeing the financial sustainability of the ministry. His expertise enables us to better serve current financial partners, as well as, improve funding strategies. He and his wife, Kathy, have been involved with CTO Ministries for over 20 years, bringing godly wisdom and passion for reproducing disciple-makers to our Training Team.

Aaron Greer
Media Director
Aaron Greer currently serves as Media Director for several non-profit ministries. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hope College and an Associate’s degree from Compass College. Aaron has created several award winning commercials, directed feature films, and completed the first season of his show, The Watchers. His holiday film A Soldier For Christmas will premiere in 2024 and other projects are in development.

Janet Murphy
Editing, Shipping
Janet fills and ships all orders and requests for CTO materials. Her background in editing for Zondervan uniquely equips her to serve as an editor on our content development team. Janet disciples individuals and also partners with Randy to disciple and train key couples. In addition, she employs her gifts of hospitality as host to the many CTO friends who visit the Phoenix area.

Tom Patton
Director of International Ministries
Tom is married to Dennie and in addition to working together as a team in discipling, training and writing, he oversees all international ministries and curriculum translations.

Glenda Miller
Accounting
Glenda is retired with four children and five wonderful grand kids. A CPA, she has worked in accounting for non profits the past 15 years. Before that she worked in tax accounting and audit, ran a daycare, home-schooled three children, and lived a busy life. In retirement, she enjoys working just a few days a week and traveling more while allowing time to attend soccer, baseball, talent shows and school plays.

Pat and Jolene Braddy
Training Team
With many years of pastoral experience, Pat and Jolene disciple and train key pastor’s and leaders nationally both on location and via video conferencing. They also serve as the key contact couple for Northern Colorado. Jolene brings many years of experience in working with women as a pastor’s wife and her giftedness in administration.

Board President
Tim has been actively discipling for 16 years and has served as discipleship pastor at QuadCity Christian Church. He currently serves as president of the CTO board. His history as church leader, business owner and medical physician brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to the CTO board. Since retiring, he is active in a multitude of volunteer opportunities.

Chuck Oltman
Director of Curriculum, Board Vice-President
Chuck volunteers as overseer the curriculum development for CTO and has given many hours of his personal time to designing and formatting the Three-Part Discipleship series. Chuck is an elder at his church and he and his wife Isabel are also involved in discipleship at the leadership level.
Carrie Herrington
Board Secretary
Carrie is honored to serve as the board secretary. With her husband, Chris, a pastor for over twenty years, she works within Likewise Worship, providing care and coaching to worship leaders nationwide utilizing the CTO studies. Homeschooling their three children has been a central focus for Carrie, but she also thrives on practicing hospitality and using her strong administrative skills. Carrie looks forward to contributing her expertise to CTO’s mission
Beth Petersen
Board Member
Beth, along with her husband, John, have been discipling with CTO for a number of years. Their favorite is to disciple couple to couple and love being a part of exposing people to God’s Word applied to their lives. Their life experiences in business and missions help them to relate to others and their struggles.
Justin Unger
Board Member
Justin is the founder and president of Likewise Worship, a ministry that serves and preserves worship leaders and their families across the country. CTO has been a huge part of the spiritual foundation in Justin’s life and is now a core tool and resource that he and his team use to disciple and care for the ministry leaders. Justin, his wife of 20 years and their four children reside in Huntingdon Beach CA.
