During our October 14-16 CTO National Conference we will have a variety of breakout sessions available for participants. As we prepare to connect and encourage one another in the good and often challenging work of disciple-making, we'd love your input on what content would be most relevant to you! Session descriptions:

1. "Creating a Discipling Culture in your Church" (Tim Duensing, Jay Roy, Chuck Oltman)
Learn how to develop a greater discipling culture in your church from current pastors who are doing it! Hear their stories and what they are learning about making disciples who make disciples.

2. "A Roadmap for Making Disciples" (Pat & Jolene Braddy)
Discover how to take what you’ve learned through CTO and begin discipling others. This session also serves as a great refresher for those who have not discipled for a while.

3. “Discipling Through Video Conferencing” (Randy Murphy)
Current technology enables us to break the “distance” barrier in discipling others. In this session you will see just how easy it is to effectively disciple people in other states—or even other nations!

4. “Being Missional with Evangelism and Discipleship" (Pat & Jolene Braddy)
In this session you will through teaching and a simulated experience how to provide simple and practical tools that help believers be intentional and effective in building relationships across which they can lovingly speak the truth of the gospel.

5. “Connecting with the Next Generation” (Nate Hoot)
How can we begin to connect the key principles of the CTO Discipleship Process with the next generation who learn and live differently? In this breakout, Nate will share some of our learnings in working with a pilot group of young adults.

6. “Discipling People Who Have Experienced Sexual Abuse” (Dennie & Tom Patton)
Encountering a disciple who has been sexually abused is inevitable. In this session Dennie and Tom will share specific steps to take in the discipling process with those who have experienced sexual abuse.

7. “Discipling People Who Have Experienced Eating Disorders” (Liz Roy)
Learn how to help those who have experienced an eating disorder. In this session, you will hear personal testimony and how God used key CTO principles to bring freedom through the power of God’s Spirit and His Word.

8. “Discipling People Through Difficult Circumstances” (Brian & Kathy Jackson)
Have you encountered someone who has or is going through difficult or extreme situations? In this session, learn from an experienced disciple-making couple about how they have journeyed alongside deeply hurting people.

9. “Helping Controllers of People and Controllers of Circumstances” (Tim & Stephanie Duensing)
This session will address specific ways to help your disciples identify their specific control tendancies and how you can help them begin to relinquish control to the Holy Spirit.

10. “Introduction to CTO” (Randy Murphy)
Learn the “why” and “what” of the CTO disciple-making process. This session is especially designed for those who are not as familiar with CTO or for those who would like a review.

11. "Right-Sizing Your View of God: The 4-Gs" (Nate Hoot)
This session will help you to begin to “right-size” your view of God in a very practical way. This session is especially designed for those who have not been through CTO or who would like further training on this topic.

12. “Change from the Inside-Out: Unpacking The Root Cause of Sin” (Randy Murphy)
Learn how to discover the “why” behind the “what” and how important that knowledge is for change. This session is designed for those less familiar with CTO or who would like further training on this topic.
